COBY-1 Functionality
COBY-1 has four main functions.
Lateral transfer
Moving patients safely from one place to another.
COBY-1 main functionality is to laterally transfer patients in a safe and comfortable way. Three motorised, articulated platforms enable lateral sliding to lift or reposition the patient.

Convertion into sitting position and transfer into a wheelchair
Moving patients into a diagonal position for better comfort, which also provides the possibility to transfer them into a wheelchair.
COBY-1 can move a patient safely into a sitting position. From this sitting position, it is then possible to transfer them into a wheelchair. The device consists of a mobile base with wheels for easy maneuvering and a man pivot that allows electric: height adjustment, rotation and forward-backward movement for optimal positioning; powered by a rechargeable battery.
